Two generations of ownership

Metzler Electric, Inc. is a family owned and operated business.  Our company provides electrical wiring and services for commercial and industrial companies, and also residential homes.  We provide electrical work for both new and existing buildings, and we serve areas in and surrounding Brown County.

We also specialize in lighting audits and retrofits to bring your current lighting system up to a more energy efficient and earth friendly system.

Jerry Metzler started the company in January 1996 and has been in the electrical contracting field for forty-three years. He has been a Master Electrician for twenty years. During that time, he serviced both residential and commercial customers.  He sold the business to Andy and Mike approximately three years ago, but continues to be an employee of the company.

Andy Metzler is the president of Metzler Electric.  He helps design/build electrical systems and estimates your projects.  Andy can see your project through on everything from lighting and lighting controls to a fully functional data system and even sound systems.  He works with our other electricians to provide guidance and service for commercial and industrial companies for new and existing buildings.  We provide a variety of services based on the company’s needs. Andy has twenty-one years of experience working in the electrical industry; ten years as a Master Electrician.

Mike Metzler is Vice President of the company and heads up our residential division.  Mike has worked in the electrical industry for fourteen years.  He works with residential builders and our residential customers to provide quality, on time wiring of new homes, as well as remodeling, and updating for existing homes.  Mike also heads up our affiliated company, AVT by Metzler Electric Inc., which specializes in wiring of sound systems, home theatres, home entertainment systems, the installation of data and telephone lines, and surveillance.  Mike works with our customers to select the equipment needed to provide a quality audio/video system for their homes.
